    Mesa Boogie 1x12 wedge cabinet

They were called the recto wedge if I recall correctly. They made a 2x12 wedge with vintage 30s also. Late nineties early aughts. They made a bunch of odd cabs brought the nineties and 80’s with hardly any information out there in them.

    Mesa tremoverb combo.

Do they sound much different to you? I assume the board revision was for the loop only. I’ve had a combo previously like the one on the right and traded it for a Tverb head years ago. I’ve always contemplated getting another combo, I just hated hauling it to gigs back then. I always loved...

    Mesa tremoverb combo.

Badass. The Rev rr-1d has a serial loop correct? I forgot about how some of the earliest Tver s have that. Love the big logo early combos.

    Mesa tremoverb combo.

The Tremoverb has its own board and hence its own revision coding that doesn’t line up with the 2 channel solo heads. I believe all tremoverb are RR-1E. This board is very simalare to the solo head rev G. I’ve owned 2 98 tverbs and there both are rr-1e T

    Will Mesa build...?

You don’t by chance happen to be near Seattle? https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/msg/d/auburn-mesa-guitar-cabinets-two-1x12/6859993505.html Or maybe you know someone there

    Will Mesa build...?

No affiliation but I think this is a widebody 27” cab. https://reverb.com/item/21145644-mesa-1x12-cabinet

    Tremoverb aluminum tube shield/bar

thabks I ordered up some channel stock. The Tremoverb head must be wider because mine is for sure 26”.

    Tremoverb aluminum tube shield/bar

Thanks so much. My guess would have been right. Yeah I could get one from Mesa but they quoted me over $100 for it. For a piece of common aluminum with 2 holes in it, seems high even for MESA. Especially considering many other parts on it are quite reasonable. I’ve had it for a dozen...

    Tremoverb aluminum tube shield/bar

Anyone able to hook me up with the dimensions on this part? I’m talking about the aluminum U-channel at the back that guards the tubes. I know it needs to be 26” long and I recall it being around 1/8” thick but I don’t know the width or the height of the legs on the U. Thanks in advance.

    TremOVerb Combo Speakers: Vin30 + C 90

I’d say do it. I’ve always liked mixing speakers. I have a vertical 2x12 halfback with the c90 and an ev12l that I picked up when I had my tremoverb combo and I far preferred running it instead of the 2 v30 in the combo. Now I have a tremoverb head that I replaced the combo with and I just...

Thinking of switching from Tremoverb to Mark V

Have you tried the serial loop mod for your tremoverb yet? That won't fix quite playing but it might improve the loop for you

Using Tremoverb as a power amp

You can use the tremoverb as the power amp. From the manual Make sure the mix level is at 100 The loop is active Use the orange channel and make sure channel cloning is off Whether it sounds good or not you'll find out.

NCD! What speakers for Metal Grill halfback 412?

I say find another evm-12l. I have the vertical 2x12 of this. I love it with the mc90 up top and the ev12 on bottom. But I run a tremoverb through it. My favorite cab I've tried. It just fills the room with the the open top and closed bottom. My next fav for the tremoverb is an old Marshall...

    Tremoverb pedal

I wired my own years ago also. I used a midi style din socket on it and a regular five pin midi cable so if the cable ever broke or went missing it would be easy to replace. I also made a junction box that plugs into the back for the other end of the midi cable that lives on the amp. Last...

    Trem-o-verb combo cabinet question

I remember my combo doing that when I lived in an old apt. Have you tried flipping the ground left switch? It's sounds more like interference that the springs in the reverb tank could be picking up. Both my head and combo get a of buzz with the reverb and volume at mid to higher levels

    Odd Rect-o-Verb

Sweet. Have fun with it. I wanna try the SED =C= tubes in my tremoverb soon. Good score.

    Trem-o-verb combo cabinet question

Sweet. That's awesome. Let me know if those cups are just mounts for a shock mount chassis, I'm now curious about it. One other note, a run of these amps had ldr (light dependent resistors) that seem to go bad. If you experience any wierd issues that can't be attributed to tubes, its a good...

    Trem-o-verb combo cabinet question

I don't know why they used the cups. I would assume they are shocj mounted chassis hardware They were on very early tremoverbs. Most early tremoverbs with the cups have a real leather covering (not Taurus), and a big *** mesa logo in the center. If I recall correctly the serial look...
