The rectifier tube mode works fine so i dont think thats the problem. Its just literally turning it to spongy, all other combinations work fine but as soon as you turn it to spongy and power it on it acts as above.

Ive gigged my mini several times now and i find the clean channel holds up quite well. The last two gigs i did with it it competed with my dual rec and a marshall at the other gig and could be heard over both and still stayed clean. If a little breakup occurs id just lower the guitar volume...

+1 The line 6 is designed as an amp in its own right. Not to be used as an effects processor! IMO sell the Vetta and get a good Fx unit like the G-Major, if you really need all the fxs that it!
