Glad things worked out for you with tube swap. I've tried both outside EL84 power tube swap with NOS Tesla's and a sweet pair of old RCA's and soon as I take off Standby Switch, it popped the fuse every time. I ended up selling the head and buying a killer Canadian build EL-34 Morris Mojo head... -

Major volume differences clean channel MV-35
Can't get over and wondering if this is normal while in clean channel. If I'm set on Crunch and adjust amp, then try cutting neck to either Fat or Clean the volume drops which seems more than 1/2. I typically run off the 10watt mode and while using crunch volume could be say around 9oclock, then... -

Mark V-35 Head, wide compact 1X12 Cab Tone settings
It's handy that the fine folks at Mesa Engineering included a few pages of quick reference tone settings but own sting if any of you guys have messed with yours enough to share some of your classic rock and Blues settings. Thanks in advance. -
