Mini Rectifier Cleans...what do you guys think?

Yup, cleans are great on the Mini-Recto. If it were me personally, I would sell the Express and get the Mini. I never liked how the Burn channel sounded, and if it's a Recto distortion you are after, then it sounds like a win/win situation. That said, I would consider getting a Mesa Vertical...

2 things i/d like to know?

Yes, you can do that. I ran both my Marks that way for years, never had any problems. As long as you are plugging the 4 ohm cab into the 4 ohm plug, and the 8 ohm cab into the 8 ohm plug, you should be fine. Just don't plug the 4 ohm cab in to the 8 ohm plug.

    V-Twin pedal power supply

    Hmm... Odd...

    V-Twin pedal power supply

It may not be a voltage problem, you may not have enough current. That pedal needs to see 12 volts with 1-amp to function properly. Because it's a higher current pedal, your PedalSnake is probably under powered, which means your pedal is underpowered, which explains why it works fine on its...

    Post your rig part 2

These are all three of my rigs. Just picked up the straight 4x12 this past weekend. This is the main rig I use with my band.

    Mini Recto v Express 5:25

I've played both, and I now own a Mini-Recto. I really liked the cleans of the Express series, more the 5:50 than the 5:25, but the later still sounded great. What really turned me off from the Express series was the "Burn" mode. It's buzzy and horrible sounding in my opinion. It was very 1...

    NAD! Mini-Recto!

Thanks! I literally took the picture right after I pulled it out of the box and put it on my desk at the office (hence the website in the background and the torn up looking wireless mic capsules on the desk LOL). To be honest, I felt a little bad selling the TA-15, but this one works MUCH...

    NAD! Mini-Recto!

Ah... I was hoping that there would be some sort of actual image uploader for this site, but I guess not. Oh well... Anywho, here she is:

    NAD! Mini-Recto!

I have a couple photos I snapped when I first opened it up, but I'm not actually sure how to upload it for you to see. As far as the Loop pedal goes, yes it would be something that does both change the channel and turn the loop on and off. Loop Master has a few of them, but not EXACTLY what...

    NAD! Mini-Recto!

Just got my Mini-Recto today! Excited to plug'er in and let'er rip! I sold my TA-15 to a colleague of mine to fund it. As much as I liked the TA-15, there are aspects of the Mini-Recto that are more suited to my taste. I like the addition of the Mid Knob, Presence Knob, and Loop, all of...

Not Much Traffic for the TA-30

I know this thread is a bit old, but I figured I'd chime in with my own person thoughts on the TA-30. I was intrigued by it until I saw how large it was, much more so than the TA-15. I liked the idea of the FX Loop, but I wanted something that was compact, which the TA-30 certainly is not...

    Lunch Box Recto

I WANT ONE!!! I've got a TA-15 that is great, but it lacks three things that the Mini-Recto has: Mid Knob, Presence Knob, and FX Loop. Still in a small, portable package. I think it would make a great addition to my collection and a great studio amp. I don't need a rip-roaringly loud amp...

    The "Unofficial" TransAtlantic Thread!!

I have that same setup minus the bottom cab. What a handy little head this thing is. Just used it to track a ton of guitars for a session over the weekend. All the modes were extremely useful. One of the best purchases I've made yet.
