WTB: 2:50 or 50/50 power amp

No problem. 23 lbs vs 35 lbs is a no brainer! I made the exact same move many years ago and was quite happy with the 2:50.

    Dual Rectifier Signal Bleed

Is it normal for there to be some signal bleed on a 2 channel Recto with the serial loop active? Mine is a Rev F. For example, on Ch. 2 if you plug a patch cable into the loop return jack and plug nothing into the send jack, when you play is there still some faint signal? This only seems to...

This happens with or without anything plugged into the input, so different guitars have no effect. It has also occurred in at least 5 different locations. I should mention I've never encountered this issue on 3 channel rectifiers, which leads me to believe there must be a design difference.

    Chicken Head Knobs - TremoVerb

Switching knobs is as simple as loosening the set screw in each of the knobs with an allen wrench, and replacing them with a knob designed for the same pot shaft size. If chickenhead knobs fit on this Rectifier, I don't see why they wouldn't work on a Tremoverb.

    Marshall 1960B Mod?

I imagine the cab may become more directional, and it will change the bass response. Whether it will feel tighter is anyone's guess. For what it's worth, the Roadking 4x12 has a somewhat similar design, except one side is open-back and the other is closed.

Mark IV Preamp through 2:90 power amp???

Yes, your signal will need to be split at some point to run the 2:90 in stereo. Each channel has it's own input. With regards to tone loss, the 2:90 is presumably based on the Mark IV power section so that shouldn't be a concern.

    Question for DC/Dual Rectifier owners

I use a Dual Rec and once owned a DC-10 head, so I should be able to give a little advice. The tone controls on Rectifiers are quite sensitive/interactive, and the amp itself is fairly idosyncratic. You may find the need to keep the bass knob lower than noon and mids/treble above noon. Run it...
