    My new order

I think you chose wisely with the tc50. I also own an Orange rockerverb mkii, I love the orange, great amp indeed but to me it much closer to a one trick pony. It has some great high gain tones along with a very nice clean channel but seems to lack in the lower gain area. It struggles with...

    TC50 vs Mark V 35

I wound up selling my Mark V-35 and picked up the tc-50. No regrets at all doing this. The tc50 to me has to be one of the easiest mesa amps to play and get a great sound. I found the mark 35 very stiff feeling, a nice clean channel and heavy channel but the crunch was lacking big time...

    Pedals with the Triple Crown

I use two overdrives with it, MI effects blues driver and sd-1. They both sound great but offer a bit different flavor, the sd1 acts more like a typical tube screamer and the Mi has a more flat even boost across its sound. The MI is also much quieter, it has always been my favorite OD...

    Tube Swap Mark V-35 head

Hello, yes I recently put in a NOS RFT 12ax7 in v1 and it sounds fine, I cant say it sounds much different though. I would like to know exactly what brand el84's currently ships in the Mark V 35 though, from what I have read all the preamp tubes are JJ's, I wonder if its the same...

NCD - Mesa Thiele with Fillmore speaker for Mark V:35

OP, where exactly did you buy that matching wicker grill? My rig is almost identical to yours except I have the 1x12 widebody cab. I have the matching boogie logo but the wicker grill would make it complete, thanks

Build plans Mesa Widebody 1x12 front ported

Funny I ran into this, just yesterday that link to gelb music had two of those cabs available until I bought one, today the last sold, I must of put the pressure on. Anyway I hope your plan comes out as nice as I know this boogie cab will be!

    Mark v35 combo

Wow that is a beauty! Have any of you guys tried the amp hooked up to another cab? Did you like it anymore? Did you find the combo to sound boxy? I'm gassing for one of these amps but can't make my mind up to go combo or head? That combo above is making it easier though!

    Mark 5:35 and Wah Pedal

Hey Dave, sorry I can't answer your question but how does your 35 sound with other pedals? Does it work well well with an overdrive boosting your drive channel? Or how about pedals played through your clean channel? Any good?

Mini Rectoverb 25 combo reverb noise?

I would check the reverb tube, I have never heard any noise added when I use the reverb. Im also wondering if you use a footswitch to switch the reverb on? If the reverb is set rather high I could imagine adding another gain circuit might add noise like suggested above. I never use the...
