Electra Dyne 112 or 212 which to buy?

If the weight isn't an issue I would go with a 2x12. I personally like to mix speaker combinations and have a C90 and V30 in my combo. I havent A/B'ed it with a 1x12, but this combo sounds great to me. When I record, I mic one side then overdub the other. I'm very happy with the results. Good luck.

    40TH Anniversary Mark V

Dude, its your money. Who cares if other guys dont think its worth the extra cash. If you can afford it, go for it. Relax and know you got a great sounding amp that also happens to look gorgeous. I would never gig with it, but it would be awesome to have nonetheless. IMO this and other custom...

    Eventide Timefactor and MIDI

I'll admit I'm a MIDI noob, but its time I change the way I run my effects. Thinking about getting the Eventide Timefactor but was curios about its MIDI capabilities. Say I wanted to switch between two or three or four (etc) radically different delay settings mid set, could I just program the...

    40TH Anniversary Mark V

WOW, I was actually right about something for once! :D Thats elegant, I was worried it would be gaudy. Sadly, the one that was shipped to Mesa Hollywood sold within a few hours. Thanks for the heads up about the pictures. I rarely go to the Mesa site as they are slow to update.

    40TH Anniversary Mark V

I hate these kinds of posts because they flare up GAS big time, but I've heard there will be a limited run of super, duper custom Mark V 1x12 cabs made, nay, crafted from quilted sapele and adorned with some sort of special mother of pearl inlay on the top. The amp will cost about $4000 and is...

Wow, Lonestar 2x12, MASSIVE disapointment, and DEAD output.

So you bought a new amp, hoping it would sound like your old one? Honestly, I think the tones youre after are in the Lonestar it just takes a little getting used to. Try setting the channel volume high, then bring the gain up to taste. Then use the master to adjust output volume. The MID control...

Wrong forum, but if heavy is what you're after steer clear of a cab like this. I would recommend a 2x12 Recto Cab or some other 12in speaker configuration. Jensen's are great but will be a bit more midrangy than most 12s. Check Craigslist in your area. I see 2x12 Mesa cabs going for < $300 a...

Need slip cover and footswitch for Heartbreaker head...

After having purchased several Heartbreaker heads and combos, I have managed to obtain more footswitches than amps! I have a Mesa Heartbreaker Channel Switch that you can have for free. Just pay the shipping. Shoot me a PM. -Castro And before anyone asks, no I dont have any free amps!

    Mark V, Head or Combo

Combo! It's only $100 more for a built in speaker, which is perfect for practice and whatnot. Then when you need a cab you can just unplug the speaker and plug in any cab you want, or any compatible combination for that matter.

    Got the call.

Dude, if you're out here in LA and have a a few hours (better yet a whole afternoon) to kill just take a walk from the Mesa Store on Sunset Blvd to all the other stores around. There are several vintage shops and specialty stores within walking distance. Make sure to check out the Carvin store a...

    can i get different speakers

Yes, you can custom order cabs with certain speakers in them as long as Mesa offers that speaker. I even asked my rep if I could order an empty cab and he said I could... but it would cost extra. He may have been joking about the last part... :?
