channel volume and loop active master for 2 channel rectos

2 channel guys,i have a revG with modded series loop that i use all the time, i run my channel vol low (9 o'clock) and use the loop active master as overall volume.. or is it channel vol up high around the 10.30 11 o'clock area ? im sure i read a lower channel vol was better,just want to get a general consensus.i should add i have the send level at noon,sometimes a bit higher but i find it starts to clip the clean channel and not sound as good. Tc electronic dreamscape and flash back is what i use in the loop. thanks for any advice help suggestions tips.

All three of these pots effect the tone. I adjust them to get the tone I want as much as the volume. Really depends on all the other gear being used to get the best results. Just experiment and see what works best with your system.
