I just picked up a 2:100 power amp that I try to pair with my Rectifier Recording preamp.
Obviously, I use the dedicated inputs and have connected the switching cable for the modern mode.
Here's the issue: Everything works until I swtich to channel 2, modern mode. The power amp will drop in volume and output only one stereo channel.
Switching back to Vintage mode, both channels work.
Could there be an issue of the power reconfiguration for modern mode?

Only thing I can see in the schematic is the relays that open when in modern mode, there is circuits taken out and different capacitors in play.

Does it do the same thing with the Recto Recording plugged into the main in with modern on and off?

How are you controlling the Recto Recording? Front jack or the rear?

I have sent you a schematic of the 2:100 via email.

Cheers Brett

I didn't check the Recording Out, but the normal inputs. Something seems weird. With the modern switch not being connected, the modern channel sounds fine and the other channels/modes sound distorted, almost like ring modulation. I'll get it to the service. :-(

Hi Ulf,

Could be preamp valves, here a link to where the valves are that do what

The schematic I sent you tells you where the valves in the power amp do what.

Cheers Brett.
