Howdy everyone!

I have either a Mk III, or IV combo box. I can't tell which, unless you guys know any identifying marks?
I understand they are the same either way.
I would like to replace the baffle with another color, it is. black.

Any tricks? (Looks like 4 screws)
And we're should I look to source one?

Thanks?

On a Mark IV combo you will see cutouts on the rear sides for mounting the big footswitch unit.

If it's like my MK 3, take out the screws and it just comes off. I am assuming you mean the grille at the front.

It's just a basic plywood shape with the farbric stretched and secured at back.

I simply used a jigsaw to make a copy of the shape in some plywood and I stretched a new grille material across and stapled it round the back. I sprayed the plywood black so it did not show through grille. The badge came off with a couple of wood screws and screwed on my version.

I did mine with a nice wicker used for chair seats. Looks same as the official boogie wicker.

You can buy other speaker grille materials online.

I'm probably referring to it wrong. The speaker baffle, grill, Cover, etc...
Derp! Thought you were also trying to figure out if the combo was from a Mark IV or not. Sounds like Promethean has the right idea regarding the grill.
