Hi guys,
I recently purchased a cal 50+ combo after being told it was supposed to be a good substitute for a mark 2c+ (a stripped down version, I was told).

My first impression is that it's quite a hard amp to dial in. It sounds good but I'm not quite getting that clear, crisp and heavy petrucci tone which doesn't mud up when you pluck single strings in big lush chords. I was wondering if any of you cal 50+ owners out there might have some killer petrucci tones dialed in? It's the version with 6L6's and graphic EQ.

Thanks TSM. Mind sharing you settings, if you remember more or less how the knobs were set?
