DC-5 direct recording help! Trying to trump a kemper :/ haha

This is a little specific, but has anyone had any luck tracking a good high gain tone with a dc-5's direct out? If so, would you mind sharing your settings? I'm competing with my buddy's Kemper for fun. I know it's probably impossible.
If I had $1,000,000,000 I be rich(for maybe 2 days. After that I'd just be Boogie-rich).

yes, impossible with that setup.

i've never heard a single good recording with a direct out of a mesa....

but if you were to add a good cab filter (like a Radial JDX or a Palmer PDI-09) you will be much closer

otherwise, you would be better off using a sim and a cab impulse

Two words; Cab Clone. It's a new product from Mesa that sounds great from what has been posted on this forum. DC-5's are awesome sounding amps so I imagine this interface will do what you want!
