I am using a TC Electronics G Force with my Mark V effects loop.

When I dial the INPUT level of the G Force down to 0 I still get a residual signal in the Mark V. Why is this. I would expect there to be no sound at all coming out of the amp as I technically send nothing and nothing should return.

Thanks

There has to be somebody who can answer this.

Is it normal when using the EFFECTS LOOP on a MARK V to still hear a residual signal (very low) in the amp WHEN the INPUT on the effects unit is set at it lowest point?

Thanks

Apparently here is the answer from this forum:

I had to get this answer from the Fractal Audio forum!

Thanks

Incidentally, most people don't read these categories. Mostly they stay in the amp discussion sections, so you need to be patient if you post a question here.

I noticed it when I tried to do volume swells using a Midi Foot controller (Behringer FC1010) and a TC Electronics G-Force. The residual signal in the Mesa Mark V at 0 volume kills the swell effect. I oriignally thought the problem was with the Behringer FC1010 or the G-Force. Now I know it is the amp itself.

Not sure what he work around is with the amp.
