My band opened for Blues Traveler last night. Were supposed to play for one hour on the big outdoor stage before BT then play 2 hours inside the casino after their set is done. I set up my MKIV inside and do a sound check so we are ready to roll. Outside I plan on using my 50+. When I fire up the 50+ I have problems, no sound. Luckily I've got my TA-15 and have to use that as its show time. A 5,000 plus crowd outside and I use it on the 25 watt setting. It sounded amazing and was plenty loud enough on stage. It's a great amp to have as a back up!

I will hopefully have some video clips to post.

Funny thing is now I find it was a hookup error so there was no problem with my 50+. At least I know the TA-30 is a good backup.

I,ve been thinking about a TA-30, love to hear how you like it? a video would be great. I only play in little bars so I guess it's time to stop using 100 and 50 watt amps, stupid at this point IMHO. Thanks for the post

Have you gigged the amp any more?
Just wondering how it sounds and cuts through in a gig.

I have and it sounds great. Plenty of gain and cuts through nicely. I have to fix the title of this because its actually the TA-15 not the 30. I had the 30 on my mind at the time. I generally use one of my other amps but if space if you need an easy load in this is nice!
