Just want some information about this tube and if it is useful in my roadster.

Found it in an old tape recorder.
It's a Valvo ECC83 with 165 (mayby I65, cant see if it is 1 or I) and 49L2 etched on it.

Any help is welcome

Good or bad sounding in a dual rectifier and in which position?

+1. With an etch code of I65 delta 9L2, it's definitely made in the Herleen, Holland plant. Among Herleen-made tubes, these are the "Most common type - good standard quality."

These are among my favorite tubes. I find them bright and articulate but not harsh, and balanced across the mids and lows. I have at least one in both my Mark amps.
 
great find!

great sounding tube, likewise, one of my faves, as i have 5 or 6 of them laying around.

great in any position, and a GREAT sounding reverb tube despite what some people might think.
 
Love that tube. I have several Amperex Harleen I65's, mostly the Hammond versions. They really do add something special wherever I put them. Congrats on a nice find.
