Hi all
I have a problem with my lonestar head.
Whilst playing the amp switched off ( no pops or bangs ) it just went dead.
Anti surge fuse had blown, replaced with new fuse but this immediately blew also..
Is this a valve problem?
Help appreciated
Thanks

Could be a power issue as well.

Do you use it with a power conditioner?

Check in the manual for power tube diagnosis.

That happened to me before. It was a bad power tube. Put another fuse in and stand behind the amp, turn it on while watching the tubes for unusual activity such as arcing. Usually in one of the power tubes.

It is your rectifier tube! It is a common issue. Replace it and you are good to go! Same thing happened to me. Ever since I replaced that one tube haven't had any issues what so ever with the amp! Just a bad tube that's all.
