Hi everyone,
This is my first post and I'd like to ask about hooking up two Mesa
3/4 back 1x12's with my Stiletto Ace combo. Right now I have one
sitting under the amp with cab & combo plugged into the 4 ohm speaker
connections. How can I connect my other 3/4 back?
The additional speaker added a little girth to the sound and I like to
maximize this effect as my other speaker is not being used.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

not sure its built for 3 cabs (1 being your combo)..... can the 3/4 cab you have daisy chain to the other 3/4 back cab? if you can you can hook up the combo's speaker to the 4 ohm out and the first 3/4 back cab to the 8 ohm out for a safe mismatch..... other than that the transformer wasnt built for 3 cabs (or at least i dont think it is).... another option is to get a power amp (say a 20/20).... slave out to the power amp and the power amp to your extra cab.... and that there would get you a stereo setup if you desired

On another note i'm not sure what that extra cab is going to get you..... if your looking to push more air or add some more girth to your sound i'd recommend selling both your 3/4 backs and either look into a 2x12 3/4 back cab or something like a 2x12 stiletto cab or a rk 2x12 cab.... again its just a suggestion but at least you'd use a safe match with your combo and it would make it a lot easier in terms of hookups and portability

I've considered the Stiletto or Rectifier 2x12 or possibly 4x12. But I've
spent alot of money on gear recently and don't know if I can justify
another major purchase to the Mrs.

Does anyone have any experience with Mesa's 16 ohm series box?
Couldn't I run both cabs through this and connect to the 8 ohm speaker
connection (safe mismatch) and connect the combo speaker to a 4 ohm
connection (safe mismatch)? I think the series box is under 100 bucks.

Hope someone chimes in on this thread. I just bought a stiletto ace, does sound good but missing some bottom end for me also. I used to run a 100 watt JCM800 with t tube screamer, DD, Chorus..sounded great but had to tone it down a little. went to a 6505 combo played it about 10 times, wife used it as a plant stand. cool amp but a one trick pony. found the cab below at the hock shop where I live and tempted to go buy it. 450 clams so I hope it can get me over the edge with the ace.
