the boogie was set on the lead channel for just 'crunchy'...
the DDSS provides all the girth and sustain....
"V" cut on the graphic eq.

this has been a great experiment, hope you enjoy it.
if anyone wants to know about the palmer, i'd be happy to talk about it.

got the weber...
totally changes the character of the boogie.

and the palmer, doesn't know the difference.

sweet spot is, master somewhere around 6 on both Master and Lead Master....
had to notch the VOL1 down to about 5!!

and now, it's grindy....
and growly...
and the midrange is way more aggressive...
bass control works better.....
bring the treble down a touch....

good stuff!

thanks Elpelotero

you saved my thread from total obscurity!!
LOL

yeah, i play all my bass lines.

it's a carvin LB70, into a barber direct drive, into a barber tone press, into a sansamp bass di, a mic pre, convertor, and then sonar.

i like driving the bass now, with my guitar overdrive pedal, then adding the deep bass back in with the sansamp.
still trying to dial in a 'signature' tone with that setup tho...
