I already own a TS-9 with the 808 mod (JRC chip etc.). What are the differences (if any) between the Ibanez TS-9, TS-808 and the Maxon OD-808?

Is there that much of a difference between these pedals when used as a boost?

They're all basically the same circuit. There are slight variations in tone due to different components, but any one could easily and inexpensively be modded to sound like the other.
 
A modded TS-9 and a OD808 sound basically the same.
