Gil Ayrn Mods to improve the reverb, smooth the overdrive and keep the bass from getting "farty" (Simple changes in resistor and cap values, could be easily reversed

That is Gil Aran He makes some box for the Mk1 called a 'Smooth and Slim' that has no active circuitry for $100

you can find a thread about Mk1 s on this forum if you search for gil aran
