Hi everyone,
I"m new to the forum and a new Mesa owner. I'm hoping someone here can help me with this problem, I'll do my best to describe it without writing a novel.
I have am using a Moen GEC9 loop switcher to control my pedals, change channels and turn the eq on and off. I'm using a TRS cable from the amp to the pedal board junction box (Temple Audio), from there an insert cable that splits the TRS to RS and TS. These plug into two separate loops in the switcher that contain relays, both normally closed. The RS turns the eq on and off and the TS changes channels. I have narrowed down the source of this terrible "ground noise" to the TS or the channel switch loop. I have confirmed that the cables are perfectly good and I used this switcher in a similar way with my last amp (PRS Archon) with no issues. There is no noise when using the Mesa foot switch that comes with the amp.
Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.
