So i have decided to switch from a rack effects setup (G-major and FCB1010) and build a modest pedalboard setup (delay, chorus & mod stomps, etc.). I'd like to hear what everyone is using for pedalboard loop switchers on their pedalboard builds-specifically Mark IV owners. I would like to control the channel switching inserts of my Mark IV B head with the switcher as well as 4-5 stomp boxes in the loops.

You could try something like a Rocktron Patchmate Loop 8 or equivalent from RJM or Voodoo Labs. These could do all your loop switching plus they can do other switching.

Probably best to use a loop switcher for all your effects and to change amp functions use something like the RJM miniamp Gizmo with appropriate cable that they sell for the amp.

To control everything you need a midi foot controller.

Too easy.

I've got the Rocktron Patchmate (previous version) and the RJM miniamp Gizmo. They work fine with the Roadster amp.

If you need the most versatility possible, the One Control Crocodile Tail Loop would be a good option.

I’m a newbie here but I thought some folks might appreciate my solution to amp switching. I use a headrush pedalboard and drive a mesa boogie mark v 35 with it.
Here is a short video of my solution.
