I picked up a Throttle Box EQ for next to nothing.
It's really a great pedal. I did some A/B with one of my Mark III's and the Throttle Box
gets close, but feels like something is missing from the overall tone when compared
to a Mesa amp with built in GEQ. I didn't expect the Throttle EQ to be better.
It's still a cool pedal..

I've been using a Throttle box eq through the clean channel of my F50 for a little while now and it's awesome, does everything from classic rock to full on saturated metal. It's interesting to hear that you can get it close to a MK3, that 5 band eq is pretty powerful isn't it.

The GEQ on the Mark III is my favorite on all Boogies. The Throttle Box is killer with a lot of usable tones in there.
It does the rectifier thing with ease & you can boost the mids, something a rectifier lacks..
I'd be interested to hear the Throttle Box in an FX loop..
