I love my Flux 5 pedal, and was wondering if I back off the gain on the Flux 5, will it sound very similar to the Grid Slammer? I can't tell by watching the videos on the differences?

What ^^he^^ said.

I've got a Gridslammer, great TS-type pedal. If you've got a Fluxdrive/Fluxfive I wouldn't get rid of it, though, in favor of a GS. Like you said, just turn the gain down a bit, and it will pretty much do the same thing. Basically, the GS is a TS-type pedal, great as a boost or stand-alone, low-mid gain OD. The Flux is a medium-high gain, sort of Mark amp in a box kind of thing, and the Throttle Box is a hi-gain, Recto affair.
