I have seen this speaker made by EV, Celestion, Eminence, what else?
What is the story behind? Which manufacturer covers which period/product?
Which is desirable, which is not?
How do you recognize them if it is not clearly written?

Thank you loylo, that's very interesting. I wonder why while there were all these changes they still kept the same name for the speakers...

I suppose "black shadow" could be seen as a trademark, or speaker series, more than the name of a specific speaker.
The model of the speaker is printed with the serial number, sych as "type MS-12", "type MC-90" or "type EVM".
There is usualy the manufacturer name also, such as Electrovoice or Celestion. But surprisingly, there is no mention of Eminence on the MS-12.
