Mark V Footswitch cable and MIDI switching system

OK so I have 2 questions.

1. What is the Mark V footswtich cable called? I need a new one and I have no idea what I need to get.

2. I'm thinking of upgrading my footswitch rig to

I just want to double check that this will allow me to change my amp channels from 1(clean), 2(heavy distortion) and 3(MORE DISTORTION) and in addition to this any guitar pedals I have eg delay etc etc.
