I am trying to set up the Expression Pedals on a Behringer FCB1010 MIDI controller to control my TC Electronics G Force.

I have calibrated the pedals and I believe they are working. Both the FCB1010 and G Force are on MIDI Channel 1.

What I now want to do is set them up so that I can do the following:

1) Use as a volume pedal (Expression Pedal A) to do volume swells on a specific patch
2) Use to control (Expression Pedal B) a Wah effect on a a specific patch

To accomplish the first task I assigned Expression Pedal A to the specific patch with the delay using #CC7 (Volume). I then did the following to allow the G Force to accept the MIDI message:

Under I/O Setup/Control: I have set up G-Force Control/Main Volume = MIDI Ch1 and Contrl 7 using the LEARN method.

However this sounds like it is controlling the Output of the G Force. I want volume swells and which mean I really want to control the Input of the G Force (i.e. I still want to hear the delayed signal). What am I doing wrong?

Secondly, how do I accomplish the second goal of assigning Expression Pedal B to the wah of another patch?

Thanks

Got it. I was doing this wrong. I was doing the following:
Under I/O Setup/Control: I have set up G-Force Control/Main Volume = MIDI
Ch1 and Contrl 7

What I should have been doing is:
Under I/O Setup/Control/Modifier Input/EXT1 = MIDI BASIC Contrl 7

Then I click on the MOD button and use the <> keys to get to MATRIX. I then
assign EXT1 to the Input Level.

Now the issue I have is that the pedals don't feel fully calibrated 50% and
below are basically dead space. I have EPROM V 2.5 and have calibrated as
follows:

For firmware versions 2.4 and later:
1. Press buttons 1 + 5 while powering your FCB1010 up (VAL 1 LED on).
2. First bring the expression pedal A to the up position and confirm with UP
(VAL 2 LED turns on), then put the pedal A down and also confirm with UP (VAL 1
LED turns on).
3. Now proceed with moving expression pedal B to the up position, and confirm
with UP (VAL 2 LED turns on).
4. Finally push expression pedal B down and confirm pressing UP. Now the pedals
of your FCB1010 are calibrated and settings are automatically stored.

Lastly, when the Expression Pedal is all the way up (i.e. turn down input level
on G Force) I can still hear a residual signal coming out of my MARK V amp.

Why is this?

Thanks
