Hi everybody, I've already got a mesa boogie roadking2 amp, but I've seen that there is a throttle box pedal, is it really sound like the rectifier series amps?
I just want to use it to be my distortion when I am not using my roadking2, is it sound similar?
Also, if I have a roadking2, can this pedal make a different distortion sound in order to have more different sound or do I really need it?
Sorry for my poor English!

Personally I dont care for the Throttle Box.. It would give you a different sound than your RK but it sounds too flubby to me..

I think the Flux Drive has a much better sound and will drive/enhance your RK and not be overkill like the Throttle..

If you are looking for an entirely new sound for your RK, I like the Bogner Red pedal much better than the Throttle Box. But the Red would need to be played on a very clean channel and would totally change the characteristics of your sound.

Good luck!
