I am wanting to build a snake for my pedal board and am curious about the 7 pin DIN cable. Should the pins for the cable be mirrored or straight? Common sense is telling me mirrored but I would really like to be 100% sure. Also, I have some 8 pin DIN plugs available locally, can I use these and just leave the center pin unwired?

That should work, just make sure that the right ones are connecterd at the other end or you'll get some rather strange switching options...

b.t.w: Do you have anything to do with the band Reticle from Manassas?
