F50 Footswitch question

hi all my first post and a couple of questions, firstly i have an F50 (which i love) i am revamping my pedal board and looking at using the pedalsnake system,im told some boogie footswitch cables have the metal case wired as well as all 5 pins (the express series ?) does any know if the F50 also has this wiring or is it just the 5 pins wired?

the second question is, i only use the channel switch on the amp, does any one know a company that makes a replacement switch with just the channel switching, or a smaller switch in general?

You can use any ON/OFF switch for any of the F50 switches. You just have to adapt it to the DIN cable.

The footswitch is partly metal and party plastic, and I don't remember there being any important "chassis" connection on it.
