No one answered huh? They do not run Watts? per se. They put out a line level signal and you must pair with a power amp or through the effects loop return of a good amplifier. Studio pre is a stereo preamp, so you can use one or two channels......I have heard that there is some difference with the quad though (I have never had one, but read somewhere that it is mono and not stereo out). hope this helps (good power amps can be as much or more than a used version of either of those amps, so be sure it is what you want)
