Possible 290 problems.

Anyone know why my big transformer gets so hot? Also, there's the end green wire on the 8 wire harness, by the round blue spike protector that gets smoking hot to the touch. What gives?

Don't know about the tranny, but that plastic clip is a flaw in the design. With mine, all three green 6 volt leads burned. I went and removed clip and soldered all leads directly to pcb. All is fine.

Possible 290 problems.
