Hi Guys,
I just started playing around with my new old V1 Triaxis.
I was A/B-ing it with my BK Butler pre amp and trying to get some similar tones that I already use.

My first step was to play with the clean tones which was easy.
Then I went to the distortion modes and noticed that all of the lead modes are SUPER quiet. Not even close to usable output? I mean, they all appear to work, but they are 20-30dB quieter than the clean "rhy" modes. So, my question is, does my Triaxis have something wrong with it? Or is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong?

The "rhy" modes both have what i would call sufficient output that I can adjust quiet to more than I need.
The "lead" modes are unusable with output and master all the way up in comparison to the "rhy" modes.

I might have an original Triaxis manual. MIGHT. I'll have to dig through my files and see what survived the last move.

Mesa keep all of their manuals online, here's the Triaxis one:
