Hi all,

I own a Mesa Fifty fifty power amp which I use to run stereo to a Marshall 1960 cab using both channels at 8 ohm

I'd buy a used v30s loaded cab but here comes my doubt, in this config I could only hook the power amp like 8 ohm for one channel to this cab and 4 ohm using the other channel for my Marshall cab. ...so.... Is it safe / possible to use one channel at 8 ohm and the other channel at 4 ohm at the same time?

Thanks in advance!

It is completely safe! If you were to open the power amp, you would see three transformers. One supplies the power into the amp, and the other two are for the two audio outputs to match the load. Because there are two different output transformers, you can have each side plugged into a different load. Just do not plug a 4 ohm cab and an 8 ohm cab into the same side.
