Triaxis mod or issues

I have a Triaxis I bought used. The issue is when I plug directly into the unit Lead 1 works on all channels. Now if I plug in a pedal with a buffer. Lead 1 works doesn't work on Lead 2 and rhythm channels and their is a bit more treble than without the buffer pedal. It's kind of cool to run lead 2 with lead 1, but it is a bit noisy and not as metal sounding. Lead 1 red is extremely high gain and probably higher than other triaxis' I've played. Has anybody experienced anything like this with their Triaxis?
