Heres a tip for more bass from Mesa Quad Preamp. The trick is middle knob pulled deep. This adds tuns of bass in combination with the Graphic EQ with the 80hz up near top line and the 240 in between half way and top line you should get mega Bass. I use a Mesa/Boogie Road Ready 4x12 with 2 Celestion Vintage 30's and 2 EVM 12L's. The EV's deliver Huge Tight Bass..

Im curious.. are you a guitarist or a bass player? Just kidding..

Those settings must be shaking the walls!

For me the Pull Deep is only useful at bedroom levels and not at full gigging volume, as the bass frequencies can become heavily exaggerated when volume is increased. I use a high pass filter and generally chop everything under 80-120hz (depending on the room size and volume) for a super tight Metal tone. When you are jamming in a band situation I think its important that the guitar doesn't take up too much of the lower part of the sound spectrum to allow the bass guitar and kick drum to shine through.

Remember.. the guitar is a mid-range instrument!!

Happy Djent'ing
