If I run my 2/100 in mono through either A channel or B channel should the side I'm not using still be connected to a load??? Or can I just keep the volume of the channel I'm not using off?

From the 2:100's manual:

The amplifier is stereo, offering two separate channels of
amplification. If you wish to use only one of its channels, it is neces-
sary to:
1 ) Make sure a speaker (or load resistor) remains con-
nected to a speaker jack on both channels, including the unused
one;

OR

2 )
Turn the LEVEL Control of the unused channel to zero.
(This is necessary because an amplifier channel receiving any amount
of signal at its input will require a “load” at its output - or damage will
most likely result.)

I do number two with my Triaxis/Coliseum 300 stereo amp all the time with no problem.

Remember to turn the LEVEL Control to zero on any channel not connected to a speaker or load resistor! A Load must be present at all times when
either channels’ LEVEL Control is dialed to anything other than zero. Failure to comply to this procedure can cause serious damage to your 2:100’s power section.
