Hello.

What is involved in updating a Triaxis from version 1.0 to 2.0?
Do you have to send it back to Mesa or can you upload the software manually?

Thanks for any advice
 
Adding the Recto board is part of the 2.0 TriAxis too I think. So I doubt it's just software.
 
Another question is " do you have to add the recto board ? "
or is it possible to just get the better midi aspects
 
If you have an older triaxis, it doesn't have the tx4 board (which has the rectifier) on it. It's a definite hardware upgrade. Apparently you could send it in to mesa for a while and get it done, I don't know if it's still an option.
 
I looking at getting a used v1 because it was cheaper , but not once you send it to mesa for the upgrade
forget what they quoted 400 ? I was only interested in the midi CC capacities , the used prices seem to be
coming down, maybe due to the fractal & kemper
