Decimator Studio Pre 50/50 setup

Hey ya all,
I'm new to this rack thing and was hoping some of ya all could give me some feedback on the way I plan on setting things up. I will only be running one cabinet - a 1X12 Roadster - and I will use absolutely no distortion pedals! The only pedal will be a chorus pedal.

Guitar to Decimator input
Decimator out to instrument input on Studio Pre
Effects send to chorus pedal to return A of the studio pre
Recording output of Studio Pre to CH1 input of Decimator
CH1 out of the Decimator to Input A of the 50/50
8 ohm out on CH A of the 50/50 to the 8 ohm on the Roadster cab

I appreciate any insight on this one.

With rack gear you should forget about effects loops. Running effects units/pedals in series between the preamp and power amp will in most cases sound better and produce less signal noise. How about this:

Recording output of Studio Pre to Chorus Pedal
Output of Chorus Pedal to CH1 input of Decimator
CH1 out of the Decimator to Input A of the 50/50
8 ohm out on CH A of the 50/50 to the 8 ohm on the Roadster cab

Just a word of advice: I used to use an array of pedals wired like this with my rack and it always ended up being a huge hassle having to deal with those cables coming out from the back of the rack and back in. Shiit always seemed to get tripped over and then I have to put my amp on standby and hunt down which cable got unplugged. If you were to get a rack fx unit ($100 or less) you can just leave everything connected and safely stowed inside the rack at all times. Then for floor control you can get a midi pedal, and if some drunk idiot at a gig trips over that cable, it won't affect your sound!
