Hello to everyone :)

I have just bought a new mesa Mark V:25 head, and I am loving it :)

Juste one thing bothers me a little: the noise coming from the fan. In a quiet enviroment ( my room at night time) I can clearly hear the noise coming from the fan, even at some foots away.
I would like to know from other users if it is normal, or if mine head is somehow defective.

Looking to older treads, some people noticed the same problem, but for others instead their head is totally silent...

thank a lot for the help

cheers

Tommo

Not sure how loud it is suppose to be, but at least it won't be heard when you're playing the amp. :)

Hi tommo,
my 25 is also loud, so no panic 8)
I use it often in a quite environment at home and my first impression was that it must be a defect fan.... but honestly... I checkt at my MusicStore another one and it was the same.
So i guess its not a silent fan like in a PC. I contacted Mesa and they told me that I can change the fan for a silent one but I never did it :p

I hope that info would be helpfully
