Mesa comes out with a new amp and no comments all day? OK. I'll comment.

This looks like a really nice amp! I can't wait to hear it. At first, I thought the identical channels was redundant, but the more I think about it, I like it. On the Mark amps, if you don't like one of the channels, you won't use it. The Fillmore seems almost more versatile, since you can set up the two channels as close or as different as you want. If just want one basic sound, with a slight mid boost and more gain for the leads, this would allow you to dial that in, instead of having to switch to a totally different sound. But, if you want a very different sound, it looks like the 3 modes will get you there. Sounds like it will do the Fender thing, from blackface to tweed. I am hoping the HI mode will get into Marshall territory... I am excited to hear this!

I am also hoping this might lead to a smaller, single channel version... a souped up Princeton! I love my Subway Blues, but it seems like a single Channel Fillmore would be pretty nice! ...and Mesa, if you are listening, please give it a 6V6/6L6 power tube option! :P

I've wanted an amp with identical channels for a long time! The power rating and light weight is nice too. I can't wait to hear one of these.

Looks pretty cool!

Reminds me of upright configuration of Trans Atlantic but due away two different channels and instead two identical channels which you could dial in what you want where Trans Atlantic you might like one channel and like two of its modes but have no use for the other channel.

I like the idea, I just want two channels with the "tweed" setting from my Road King

Sounds pretty cool. Reminds me of the "channel cloning" on the Tremoverb.

Just watched the demos. Sounds great, a lot more gain than I'd expect a vintage-y amp to have. But it's Mesa, of course it will have plenty of dirt. It really fills out the lineup.

I'm a high gainer myself, so while I'm not particularly interested in the Fillmore, I love the straight forward feature set. Especially the channel cloning idea. I really would like to see Mesa apply this to all their amps moving forward. The paradigm of CH1 = Clean / CH2 = Dirty is unnecessarily limiting; it's just a legacy holdover at this point. Fact is, channel switching really is just relays popping in and out different components and/or tone stacks while the actual topology is more or less the same, in most circuits.

Agree the channel cloning is a much better idea. Give the user control.
