Electra Dyne noise

Check out these two clips on YouTube. I have some kind of chassis rattle, plus a wierd static kind of sound. See what you guys think.

That sounds awful

I recommend divide-and-conquer.

1. Disconnect reverb and turn off reverb control
2. Put amp in 45W mode to reduce to 2 power tubes
3. If that doesn't nail it, swap innies for outies to check the other pair
4. Swap preamp tubes

I can't tell about the chassis rattle, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had either a loose speaker nut or a nut or screw rattling around in the bottom. You may need to pull the reverb tank and have a look around.

Last-resort, pull the chassis and look for a loose thing-y.
