I have an original Mesa Express 5:50. For whatever reason, I am having a hard time selling it. I bought it about 48 hours before the Express Plus came out...I am going to move up to the Express 5:50 Plus because it has the features I am looking for in an all-purpose amp.
I was wondering what some of you guys have done to modify your 5:50s to improve tone, or clone other classic amps. I have heard some people providing tailored tube sets and have gotten GREAT results.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
