Hey guys, I have an opportunity to play through a Peavey 5150 full stack in a couple weeks (gear sharing for the win) and when reading my guide, couldn't determine if I could safely run through this stack with my Mesa/Boogie Mark V.

Can I connect the two 8 Ohm jacks on my amp to two 16 Ohm cabs? I don't want to buy another piece of hardware (parallel box) as this is a one off situation. Your guidance is appreciate Boogie Board!

Yes. This is precisely what those two 8 ohm jacks are for.
The manual seems to unclear on the concept.
It mentions connecting two 8 ohm loads to the two 4 ohm jacks, but doesn't specifically repeat the instruction for two 16 ohm cabs to the two 8 ohm jacks. But that's why they are there.
