Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone is using a Line6 POD HD500 with a Lone Star Special.

I currently own a HD500 and would like to use it as an effects processor for my LSS (arriving thursday) by using 4CM (4 cable method).

Any tips / do's and don'ts?

I know getting the volume levels right is a bit tricky and I hope I will get it "right" without losing the tone of the LSS.

edit: this should probably go to the "effect" board? But since it's my first post here, I hope you will forgive me :)

I just went through setting this up with my new Rectoverb 25 and this article helped immensely:

It's a great starting point and explains why each of the settings are set the way they are. With my amp the only things I did differently was keep the 1/4" output level set to stomp and keep the mixer level on Path A to 0db. Pretty transparent and only a touch more noise than I get with the battery powered MXR Carbon Copy Delay in the loop.

Hope that helps!
