Anyone know about this style of 112 cab. Will my mark V fit alright on top?

I have the option of this for $200

I think too small for the head.

Or this cab with a WGS speaker for $300.

The cab in the picture is going to be much narrower than the Mark V head. The one in the ad will work, though.

Decided to go ahead and order a mesa 1x12 widebody closed back. Will update after trying out with my Mark V.

Are you talking about the Thiele cab?

Those are hard to beat in the 112 world.
Curious to hear what you think of it.

That's it. Its technically not the Thiele model. But yes that closed back front ported cab with the MC90.

I got it Monday so i only have about 8 hours of high volume on it. But so far I really like it. Not nearly as directional as i thought it was going to be and the bass response is great. The cab is light and pretty easy to move. The MC90 cleans are nice and the crunch sounds are good. Playing at the same time as my other guitar player with G12T75s and me being used to V30s I find the MC90 has just the slightest of Greenback to it. Also cleans are great with it, has the good top end you want without getting brittle.

Thanks for the critique.
One of those would absolutely complete my small cab collection.
Everyone needs at least one ultra-portable, and I've never had a c90 in anything.

The only reason I corrected you is if you have a shorter heard than the mark V you can get the Thiele cab

Its just too short for the Mark V. I am pleasently surprised with the MC90. OVerall I prefer the V30 but only in 2 + speaker cabinets. in a 1x12 this thing is pretty perfect. It will take a while to break in but i can tell the potential.

Yeah I agree, V30 in a 112 is just too focused and un-open sounding. I'm betting that wide-body w/c90 records great also.
