Hey all, I had the crazy idea of re-housing my 1x12 Blue Angel into a pine head + cab to save some weight. Then I thought hey, what if I actually re-house the circuit with chassis-mounted tube sockets etc? Has anybody done this? OR alternately hand-wire (clone) their Mesa?
 
I kind of did this, but with a 2204 Marshall circuit built into my Nomad 45 chassis. I reused the PT and OT and built everything else from scratch on a turret board. The hardest thing about hand-wiring your amp will be deciding on a functional component layout. There is so much available for the Marshall stuff, so my build was fairly easy.
