Hi guys.
Just bought a used Mark I reissue circa 97, replaced tubes with matched JJs. I'm hearing a faint high pitch whine and buzz coming from the power supply, not through the speakers. Had it sent to a Boogie licensed repair shop and they did heat/vibration tests and found two bad valve resistors, but the noise is still there! Is the power supply failing? Is it unsafe to use the amp? Or is this a typical hum from a Mark I power supply? The noise is very faint, but I don't want to hurt the circuit. Any thoughts? Really baffled, and too cautious to plug in to my Boogie until someone can offer some advice. I hate this situation! Please Help!!
