Hi guys. First post. I have a Mesa DC-5 that I'm having a issue with.
When I insert the footswitch into the front jack for channel switching. The amp won't stay in channel two. It either fades to very low volume or sounds like a channel one. If I switch to channel one, it's fine. It's just channel two that has the issue. I thought it might be the footswitch at first but I tried a different one and had the same issue. I have no issue changing channels with no footswitch (eg: just using the Lead/Rhythm switch). Without a footswitch it works fine.
I'm fairly good at fixing things but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Perhaps I just need a new jack or could it be something else.
Thanks for the help!
