Is it possible? How close does it get?

I know that tone is a very subjective topic, but I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm trying to get a good crunchy recto rhythm tone. I went from a RO 50 (sold) to my current MK IV and while the lead tones are leagues ahead, I find that

I still prefer the recto tone for rhythms and (gasp) low gain tones.

In my ideal world, I'd like to have an actual DR A/B'ed with my MK IV. However, my wallet has taken a pounding and I won't be getting paid again for a couple months. I'd also like a LSC head for clean tones to complement my rig, but that is a totally different dream lol.

Do a YT search for a Triple Wreck pedal. Nothing short of amazing. I have one. I use it with a little blackface type amp, Bogner New Yorker, and it goes full blown modern rectifier.

Wampler makes the pedal.

The V-Twin sounds nothing like a recto tone. I own this pedal and also a recto amp.

I also own Wampler's Triple Wreck. This is the pedal you need as noted in the previous post. Search youtube. Here's a very good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBjfEkC2-qo

I did check it out.

It sounds really good for a pedal.

I might give it a shot once I have a bit of cash.

Thanks!
